Why pay the outrageous price from the BMW dealership for a replacement window? Why pay for a whole window when only the plastic is bad?

A Z3 window is a zip-in window with black canvas trim on the outside that you tuck your top into. I have made hundreds of BMW Convertible windows.

The plastic that I use is DOT approved, higher quality and longer lasting than OEM BMW plastic. The OEM plastic can be scratched with your fingernail. This plastic won't easily be scratched with your fingernail and is more flexible, meaning that it should be more resistant to cracking.

These windows come with a 1 year replacement warranty.

A lot of people ask if they can do replace the window themselves. The old window unzips and the new window zips in. I supply the zipper slider necessary to do the operation (zipping and unzipping). You will need an assistant, and it should take 1-2 hours. It has been done in as little as 15 minutes.
